Attendance Week

On Monday, November 4th, 2024, The Phoenix Primary School and Nursery will kick off our new Attendance Heroes campaign as part of Attendance Week!

The theme for the week is Attendance Heroes: Here, Every day, Ready, On time. 

The Attendance Week tagline is: “If you miss school, you miss out!”

So make sure that you are in school Every day, ready and on time!

 

Our Attendance Heroes have landed!

Meet Arty, Ally, and Aria! Their mission is to help turn you into attendance heroes! Each week, a student from the class with the highest attendance will get to take one of our heroes home and capture photos of their weekend adventures. What exciting things will our heroes get up to this weekend?

 

Attendance quest books

Our new Attendance Quest books will be ready this Friday! A student from the class with the best attendance will get to take home one of our Attendance Heroes and share the exciting adventures their hero experienced with the classmates.

 

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have the chance to take home our hero Ally! Write about Ally's adventures and take photos to show what fun things Ally got up to at the weekend.

 

 

 

 

Years 3 and 4 students will soon have the exciting opportunity to bring home our beloved class mascot, Aria! Each weekend, one lucky student will get to take Aria on all sorts of adventures, and we can't wait to see what fun experiences you’ll have together.

While Aria is with you, try to capture some memorable moments! Write a short story about Aria's adventures—whether it’s exploring the park, helping out in the kitchen, or simply relaxing with a good book. Don’t forget to take photos along the way to show us all the fun things you and Aria got up to!

On Monday, bring Aria back with your story and photos so we can share the adventures with the whole class. We’re looking forward to seeing the amazing places Aria will visit and the wonderful stories you’ll create together!

Years 5 and 6 students will soon embark on exciting Quests with our attendance mascot, Arty! Each week, you'll get the chance to choose from a list of fun and creative challenges to complete with Arty by your side. Whether it's exploring nature, creating something artistic, or taking on a teamwork challenge, every Quest will be a new adventure!
