What will my child be doing?

We have many interesting activities in the Nursery. It is an extension of your home where we aim to build upon your child’s experiences.

Your child will have plenty of choice of activities, examples are listed below:

Capacity play with sand and water

Painting, drawing, tracing, writing

Cutting and sticking

Listening to stories from adults

Looking at books

Reading and number games

Role play – large and small

Singing and musical instruments

Your child will have the opportunity to play outside in the different areas, as well as have regular access to hall space for music and movement sessions. All activities are planned to develop your child’s fine and gross motor skills as well as extend their comprehension and spoken language skills.
